This session will explore the tools needed to execute the perfect events from head to toe, it's event planning 101!

About this Event

This workshop is for:
Young leaders (ages 18-29) with youth-serving programs based in Toronto (or the surrounding area's).

Do you have events/ programming that you now need to move online because of COVID19?

Are you unclear how to bring your initiatives to life digitally? (ie, Scaling up or down)

Are you interested in learning new tips, tricks, and best practices to ensure a successful event under pandemic guidleines?

Are you looking to see how others are navigating delivering their events online?

The Global Pandemic has caused us all to pause, may it be professionally, personally. The restircions in places to ensure our health has aslo put a dent in many of our plans and community organizaing . As we now look to repoepning stages what does that mean for us , our comunity work, the roll out of our events?

Join us on Wednesday, August 19th, 2020 at 5:00 pm to bring our visons BACK to life, Led by The Redesign Group.

The Redesign Group will provide an interactive approach to engage participants in exploring elements of event planning. The session will allow participants to draw from their own events/projects to collectively map out the steps needed to take the event from conception to execution. This workshop is designed for participants working with a small committee or groups to execute their event deliverables.

What you will leave with

1. Provide participants with a framework to define the goals and purpose of their event

2. Enhance participants skills to propertize phases of their work plan

3. Checklist to effectively execute their event

The Trustee Hub will continue to provide trainings to support you in building a strong foundation for your work to have maximum impact during this Pandemic and beyond.

*Note: Priority will be given to SSCH Trusteed groups and other Youth grassroots group leads. If there are more spaces, others will be invited.

ABOUT ReDESIGN GROUP


The ReDeisgn Group employs an asset-based approach to community development and problem-solving. Engaging stakeholders in the transformation process, the ReDesign Group uses a Human Centred Design methodology that leverages exercises and activities to create high performing teams as a means to create a community-driven and participatory approach to development.

AMANDA - THE STORYTELLER , 
A recovering fundraiser and deeply committed chocoholic. You often find her standing in long lines for no apparent reason.
